congrats on the new truck enjoy, AND for you Mr poundstone when are we goin shopping for the viper:rock:

I'm still looking. The guy who I made the first offer to never got back to me. Really sucks, his Viper only had 1,400 miles!! He said he was getting $55K to trade it in for a new Viper. I offered him $52K and told him I used to sell cars and its always better to negotiate a deal without a trade. He seemed very enthusiastic about selling the Viper to me but never got back with me, not even a counter offer. Same goes for an 06 CE I saw out of Mass. I never talked price just asked the guy to get a hold of me so we could chat about the car, he never did despite me messaging him on both Autotrader and Ebay where the car is listed. And finally I had a guy in NJ with an 04 that never got back to me either! I dont get it. I only made an offer on the first one and never really talked about money on the next two and they just dropped the ball!! I'm scheduled to compete in Sweden on the 16th so I'm not planning on doing anyting till after then anyways!!

THe kit is from SirMichaels They make roll pans and other stuff for trucks. As far as the body work goes, it can be a bit of a pain. My body guy welded in the plate then several months after I could see the weld line. This is rather common and the best way to avoid thi9s is to get the tailgate shaved and give it a month or so before you paint it! Perhaps a winter project.

Thanks mate! I just answered one of mine in questions. I see how you get in now (no tonneau cover) I can't do that as I have/want one and the tailgate must open first before you can get in to open the lid, on the 06 anyhow. Thanks.

If you haven't looked thru the VCA of America classifieds, you might have some luck there. Most of the people there are serious about Vipers and if they post a classified ad they are serious about selling. Sorry to hear about your problems - eBay might be another solution if you or someone else can check it out before bidding. Market is soft since the 08's came out on used Vipers, so you should be able to get a good deal. Good luck!

Thanks bro, I've been checking VCA and was thinking about one or two nice ones. I'll have to sign up and start the process all over again!! Ebay had 120 Viper total for sell but only a handfull within 500 miles of me. I'd rather take a look at what I'm buying first. I'll probably have to wait till after WSM in Septermber when I can devote more time to my hunt!
