California's Nearly Bankrupt. L.A. Times Cites Some Reasons.

Getting tired of all the bullshit.(the blaming immigration for this countrys' problems) Its much bigger than that! My .02

I actually would be happy to see your presentatiom if its still availble. Also, Who said I want to or was in favor of granting amnesty:dontknow:

What I am in favor is immigration reform, that doesnt mean I want everybody granted a fukn green light. It is sheer ignorant and next to impossible to say your gonna kick em all out. However even as "illegals" they dont escape taxes. If I was in charge, I would devise a plan to give them some sort of citizenship with out the full privilages of an american after they pass full background check, drug test, and some kind of proof that they have been productive since they been in the nation. Then if they would qualify, bring em onboard to tax the shit out of em like you and me. but i'm no fukn senator
Thank you!

What part of Illegal do you not get?? I don't care if they come from Iceland illegally, the broke the law to get her and should be thrown out with No chance of ever coming here again.

Also there should be a law preventing the exporting of our currency to foreign countries and the born on US soil thing has got to go bye bye in the case of people that came here by illegal means..........my .02 bak:argh: :argh:

Jerry what you think and what is realistic are two different things. you can try and throw all out but I see us finding peace in the middle east before that

Jerry, these immigrants who send a few dollars of money are the least of your worries... If your pissed about them sending money I wonder how you feel about the big companies that move overseas to save money. You know whats funny, Is that I know quite a few die hard Mccain/palin folks who have a cleaning lady and gardner both who are "illegal"

First I would like to say half of my relatives are immigrants ( from the south ,north, just about everywhere), but they came here legally. Some even went back.

I have just as much bad feeling toward any entity ,or person that ships our currency to a foreign country.( it is Not a racial or Origin thing) I just feel they could get the currency of their country at an exchange and send their own currency there and if caught sending US currency out of country it should be confiscated no matter who or what did it.

My old computer is at the shop with my truck so I can use it for data logging/tuning. If I still have the data and written report I'll send you an email or something. To be honest when I started the project I didn't really know what I would find, a lot of the information was very surprising. I was dumb enough at the time to delete most of my work from school thinking I would never use/need it again. Oh well, I'll see what I can dig back up.

"I always hear people say my ancestors came through Ellis Island "legally" so why doesn't everyone else and/or I don't have a problem with Hispanics only "illegal" ones. That's just a cop out BS excuse. First, there is no more Ellis Island and legal immigration now is a poor, insincere, and insulting imitation of what is was back then. In order to even visit the US from Latin American countries you have to show proof of income, own property, have a bank account, etc. and submit your self to background check, fingerprints etc. And to become a resident is even harder and can take 10-20 years. By that time you are past your real working age(sorry for those of you older guys, lol). Don't get me wrong as I don't have an answer either but blaming other people for the problems in the US is not an answer and will get us nowhere. Let me get off my soapbox." I wrote that months ago to the many similar threads that pop up every month or so with the same BS.

Here are some examples:

Every time I see threads like this I like to go back and see this video and just laugh my ssss off.
