I wanted to start a thread dedicated to Chris for those who haven't been following the "Alberta members" thread. We had the opportunity to fly Chris from LA to Calgary and have him tune our trucks.

After watching him work it was very eye opening on how a true tuner operates. Your truck runs from his laptop! He Completely rewrites the fuel and timing tables from scratch, through the entire RPM range, not just WOT.

It was interesting to listen to each truck as they drive onto the dyno and the progress made through the 4 hours each truck took to tune. Every truck sounded completely different as if left.

A slipping clutch prevented me from getting mine completely tuned, but I can say the street manners and the way it sounds is totally different now and I am super excited to be the clutch fixed and have him come back and finish it.

If you ever need a tune, it is 100% worth your dollars to have him do it for you!

Thanks to Burt and Ron for making his happen!

I believe I met him in Bakersfield, and watched him tune on Patricks if I remember right, It was fun to watch

I totally agree with you Tyler! I spent 4hrs on the dyno Sat with Chris,he has done an amazing transformation on my truck, the tune is awesome! What a difference in my truck, the response, the drivability it has now is a whole new beast!!
Thanks a lot Burt,Ron,Chris,Brian and Mrs Miller for bring us all pizza for supper and of course Matt at the Mustang shop for making this all happen to let us use his dyno to let Chris perform his tuning magic!! THANKS AGAIN ALL INVOLVED!!!:rock::rock:

Chris is a great tuner and person, excited to continue working with him on future projects!!!!

I would also like to say thanks to all involved on getting Chris down for the tuning it was a blast It was a smorgesboard of Viper power. . So thank you Burt and Ron for putting this together and Mrs. Miller for the Hospitality and of course Chris for the tuning.

So now that everyone is tuned I guess it is up to us Northern guys to try and organize a track day in Edmonton before it snows.

I could talk for hours recapping this past weekend. I had never met Chris until ronnie and I picked him up at the airport in Calgary. We ran into issues first thing Saturday morning, when Chris opened his equipment case and found damage. Someone at Canada Customs took it upon themselves to "inspect" the electronic devices that Chris had packed and seriously damaged a critical piece. We spent a great deal of time repairing his specialized gear.

Once we were up an running we realised we had never, and I mean never, seen tuning like this by any shop in Calgary, that deals with Vipers. I would call Chris a mastercraftsman in his trade. I don't know how else to describe the attention to detail and the extremely precise nature of his tuning. There was no way he would go half way on an issue. It was 100%+ the whole way.

Every truck was different. We had a very aggressive schedule, based on what we were used to seeing for tuning & dyno time at the local shops. We had Chris under quite a bit of pressure to produce his quality work and turn out the trucks. We were able to move the schedule around (and I thank everyone for helping me make it work!) and Chris delivered.

No one left unhappy. We had folks from hundreds of miles away and they were all able to drive home. Some very impressive numbers were produced and the owners all know their tunes are safe.

Chris is an incredibly nice guy. Most of the folks didn't get to spent time with him, as he was so busy. Ronnie and I were lucky, as we had the afterhours debriefing time. We learned so much and have a lot to take away. Chris will be back and we hope on a regular basis. We are developing plans for this.

Chris is developing a website, which will be online in the future.

I welcome anyone to contact me for references for Chris and his work. If you would like to contact Chris please use: [email protected]

You will be very happy you did.:rock::rock::rock::rock:
