Hey guys. Since I bought the turbo truck I now have the parts off my truck I am selling. I wont be using these parts so they are up for sale. I will list the parts individually on different threads. Up until a couple of days ago I had zero intentions of selling my personal go fast parts. The first thing I am listing is the Paxton. I have my X-Metal Paxton Kit that is 100% complete with installation instructions and everything. It came off my 2006 RC 6spd, but I think it will work on an auto QC too. It will fit 2004 to 2006 Ram SRT-10's. Everything's here, the blower unit, all piping, the aftercooler with blowoff valve, the aftercooler water pump, water pump lines, all mounting brackets/hardware, oil lines/fittings, the Paxton ECM, complete fuel system with FMU & dual fuel pumps, and all the wiring. Remember, this is the X-Metal kit with the larger Radiator-mounted water cooler that is as wide as the radiator. The standard paxton cooler is about 1/4 the size of the X-Metal. The X-Metal kit also has the high-volume Coolant pump, larger coolant tank, and a few other minor upgrades. The X-Metal cooling system is much better than the standard paxton stuff. This is the premium Polished kit too, not the satin one. The kit works absolutely excellent. My truck with only headers, VEC3, & bolt-ons made 642 RWHP. I removed the kit myself to insure everything is included, and nothing got lost, broken, or damaged. This is a nice set-up at a steal of a deal. The X-Metal version costs like $2000 more. I had to do some research to find out how many miles are on the kit as it was on there when I bought the truck. The kit has 9,000 miles on it, but I had access to an almost new Paxton superchager head-unit by itself and it only has 3000 miles on it. Everything is VERY clean with very little oil or dirt on it. I need $3500 for it. Call me, Robert at (817)992-8068 with any interest. I check my PM's too, but the fastest way to reach me is by phone. Thanks

ps: I already sold my headers to the new buyer of the 06 NR I just sold.

i assume this won't fit a 5.7 hemi?

U assume right. Even if you did get it to retrofit, it would probably make too much boost. The SRT10 Paxton unit is huge. It may work though. It would take considerable modifications anyway.

Guys Seriously I was gonna price it at $4000 being my personal X-Metal kit, but I need $$$ to help pay my boss back for the massive loan she just gave me on the turbo truck.

What a great deal. You got me thinking about modding my other truck.

:D Thanks Kyle.. Apparently we're slipping around here since it took so long for someone to bring up this point.

I know the ROE supercharger, you need forged rods and piston. It that the same for the Paxton?

Any forced induction on these engines require forged internals for durability. Sure it will work on a stock engine but the question is for how long.

:argh: You keep the boost control around 7-9 lbs. you'll be fine.
I run 8-lbs./boost on 91/octane all day on the street.
When we go racing we up-it one more lb. to 9-lbs./boost..:marchmellow: :marchmellow:
...and that's about it....anymore than that and your looking for trouble!

10-lbs./boost will do-you-in!
Quick

I've been running my Paxton for a little over 2 yrs now over and I have 61k on the motor. No issues so far. Its all about the tune and staying with the stock pulley any attempt to raise the boost will are running the risk of blowing up the engine. As I have mentioned before the boost on the Paxtons comes on gradually as the rpm's go up (not as violent) unlike the the Roe which comes on almost immediately.

Hope this answers your question.

Yea this is a sticky subject with a ton of opinions. My experience has been good as long as you watch it. You MUST keep A/F correct at all times. I have popped forged internals too, trust me, they can blow a ring too. You can forge an engine all day long, but rings are rings baby, they only take soo much abuse. The trick it not to abuse. The ONLY reason mine popped was because I messed with the meth injection, and didnt pay attention. Yes I robert didnt pay attention........extremely hard to believe. But yea, I pumped about a pint of washer fluid into the manifold, because the sprayer got misadjusted and dam-near hydrolocked the engine. Luckily it made it back to TX(I was in Chicago when it happened), and now yes we have to rebuild the engine. But anyway, I think you can safely run a paxton on a stock truck, but you have to watch what your doing. Like anything else, any extra power beyond factory spec places more wear on the enigne than if it were stock. That goes for any power adders. OK thats my Opinion.........just an opinion guys!!! :)

STILL for sale guys. No one has jumped on it. Had a lot of interest though. Its going on ebay next week and it'l bring 4 on there, just watch. Gotta take pics too. I'll get em on here as soon as I can. cyall.
