Considering going Turbo-D

I'll be overseas for chritmas and new years. Just got transfered to Iraq. Good hearing from you Burt. Man is this winter starting to drag or is it just me?

I agree a new diesel is twice the truck. But oil changes and general maintenace is usually higher. Plus if it's just a daily driver why drive a big diesel around all the time unless you plan on pulling something. The money you save on buying a low mile gasser could go into your 10 mods.

I'm working too. It has been a mild winter so far at site, but the bottom has to fall out soon! We are about half way through our expansion, 1000 construction workers on site. We are drilling 130+ wells in the next three months.

yeah but i only change the oil every 8k in my diesel and it gets 20mpg

I think a Turbo-D is a good investment. Reliable and last a long time. I'll just pay down the 10 and get a me a 2500 in the next year or two. Never been a fan of lifted trucks with big tires, but that changed as I got older.
