Corvette museum swallows up 8 Rare Vettes in sinkhole!

Wow, what a crazy world! The sinkhole in the Skydome part of the museum literally swallowed these cars. Doesn't say whether they are retrievable or not? :dontknow:

Sounds like that area is going to be one big sinkhole

Going to sat view and zooming in on the pink dots, you can tell in several of them that something happened or is now holding water. That place looks worse than Florida for sinkholes

It's already disheartening those cars were lost, I'd be evacuating the rest like its a catastrophe happening. They say the museum is still up an running except for that part. What if it had been during the day and 40 people got swallowed up too? Different story then!

Its a sign, even god hates vettes...Now, the hole looks big enough just (park) the rest of them in there and fill in with concrete....mess cleaned up !!

That sucks but at least no one was hurt and they can repair a number of them while NONE of them will be scrapped. The publicity will certainly bring in spectators to get a look-see of what was damaged, and ultimately this will bring in more revenue. Unfortunately for some peeps; however, their wallets and sentimental value took considerable damage though.
