I don't think I'd drill holes in a $1500 bumper cover either. On an 04/05 the bumpers are cheap.

But you have 1600 of each style in your stash. So what's the problem?

I added the rods to mine and I really like the look. I debated a lot about adding holes but in the end its only two small holes that could be covered (fixed) in the future if I had a change of mind.

In my opinion they are not needed so its up to you. Yours looks good without the rods. I felt I just needed a little more chrome on mine since it's a black splitter on a black truck.

Was the instruction sheet helpful? If you have any mods to it I am sure Robbie would take them.

If I could get the dimensions I would make one here at work. Just need to do some research. Looks awesome.
