Any news on these? My wife is bugging me about what I want for my b-day next week.

I could give you a number of reasons, however, the honest reason, is we are just not ready to sell them yet. I was going to call my guy today and ended up so busy at work I didn't have a chance. So I will be calling him thursday

The backing is metal with a sticker thing on top it looks like. Found this on the interwebs. The corner of mine started to peel, then when i was wiping the dash down with microfiber, the corner caught the rag and bent. Seems when these things bend you arent ever going to get them to lay flat again.
