Hill Kelly Dodge (Pensacola, FL)

Marty (Lady service Manager) Rocks!!!

She ordered my steering wheel today under warranty. They never question any of my mods (although all my mods are small). They are quick and usually do a good job.

Thanks to smoke for recommending Marty!

Never had issue with Dodge dealer either. Treat me great and have replaced many things on the beast with no questions asked.

Mazda dealers on the other hand. Not so great experience.

West Side Dodge in Jax brings the suck....

Jax CJD rocks.....Viper tech there is named Garret, he's a good guy...they treat me like a champ....

Mark T mentioned some guy in Orange Park as well, but I dunno....
Garret works with us now. He's damn good at what he does, but I have never seen anybody make a mess quite like he does.

On the 3rd of August I took the Truck into Crain Dodge in Little Rock both door weatherstrips tearing at the a-pillar when door opens. The girl that took my info her first question was did you buy it here I knew then I should have drove to Landers in Benton about 20 miles away, Thursday the 24th I called Crain asked if my weatherstrips had came in the guy that I talked with remembered my truck I gave him my name phone# and vin# he said he would call me right back well the afternoon past as did Friday if no call back by noon Monday i'll take it to Landers in Benton I would think warranty should be performed by any Dodge dealer? I bought my truck used with only 1100 miles when the tranny went I called Cain they wanted me to call back on Monday to set up an appointment to look at it so I took it to Landers (both service dept. open on Saturdays )they had no problems fixing it under warranty they damn sure didn't ask if I had bought it at thier dealership my truck only has 8000 miles I've changed oil & filter 3 times all 3 times I purchased the filter from Crain I won't be going back except Monday if they call with my weatherstrips I sure won't purchase any new vehicles from them in the future

Fletcher Dodge (Sherwood, AR)= Sales Sucks but service is good.

Little Rock Dodge (Little Rock, AR)= Sucks but has a good Internet manager (Shaun Newsom), I bought a new truck and car from him. I didn't find out they sucked until after I bought the car..

Altman Dodge (Mountain View, AR)= Good Service side, Sales sucks.

Red River Dodge (Heber Springs, AR)= Great sales and service. I bought my last new truck from them.

Ramsey Dodge (Harrison, AR)= Good Service, Sales sucks. I looked at this lot both times I was buying a new truck and just wouldn't deal with me. I told them I was ready to buy but no deal.

Orr Dodge (Searcy, AR)= Great sales not sure about service. My dad just bought his '08 dually from them. To make the sale they even recovered the seats in leather and put seat heaters in the front and rear for no charge.

*bump bump* IS THIS THING ON?? HELLO?

Uhhh, I'm here to talk about a few dealerships.
The first one that comes to mind is Spring Dodge north of Houston. If this thread were initially generated in the offensive section, then I would be able to convey my true feelings about Spring Dodge. However, I have to exercise restraint. They are terrible. My first three oil changes for #1900 were conducted there. On all three occasions the prices were never the same for the same service. Nor were the amounts of oil used were the same. For the first oil change I was charged for 10 qts of oil at $6.99 a qt. The final bill was $101.00. On the next visit I brought in 10 qts. of M1 but only 9 qts. were used and I was over charged labor ($50.00). For the final oil change I purposely brought in 9 qts. of M1 and out of them only 8.5 qts. were used; labor was $60.00. So I HAD to ask. Why in the heck was I charged for 10 qts. the first time and the next two times less than 10 qts. was used? And why was the labor more as I brought in less oil? If I brought in 8.5 qts. would they only use 7? I never got a straight answer for any of those questions.

My last and absolute final visit was when one of my cats became stopped up. The service writer acted like I didn't have the right to own #1900. He had the nerve to ask what I do for a living because he's not used to seeing "your kind" buying or needing such an expensive truck. I asked him what the hell he meant by "your kind?" He stuttered a bit and carefully chose his words. "You know.. Younger folk." If you heard his strong southern accent and affliction and emphasis on "your kind" you would have known his remark was indeed racially charged. I was so pissed but I couldn't driver her like she was. I had her towed there. He went on asking me about any mods I had done. I told him all I did was added a Magnaflow muffler and that was all (I wasn't lying). He said that by me changing that muffler I could have voided my warranty. I told him, "HEY, you're out of your mind. I KNOW that muffler had nothing to do with the front right cat glowing red at 9K miles." By then he became agitated with me and asked what kind of gas I was using. I told him I've been using Exxon 93 octane. He said they are going to take a sample of fuel to verify, and if it comes back anything other than what I said my warranty will be history. So was I on trial here? Keep in mind this is the same place that black-balled silverqc's truck just because he lowered it. I was furious with the way I've been treated at Spring Dodge. After I got her back and I was proven innocent I told the manager flat out that I didn't appreciate the way I was treated and vowed openly that I nor anyone else I am associated with would never return for so much as a light bulb.

Weisner Dodge (moved from Tomball, TX to Conroe, TX.).. This is where I purchased #1900 new. And the only reason I got good price was because I backed the sales person in a corner; NOT because they just wanted to give me a good deal.. Then they had a third party hole in the wall company install my alarm. They left a loose ground which haunted me for years and eventually fried my door locks (likely the dash cluster) before Taliban Dan in Macon found out what the problem was. That dealership lost my records and the place that installed my alarm disappeared. Screw them.

Okay, now for the good place. Mac Haik Dodge Houston, TX. A service writer named Ellis knows me there. I always go to him. He has two Viper techs working there and they are perfectionists. Even the regular techs are good as they work close with the certified guys. I plan on paying them a visit when I get back into the country.

Rob Lambdin's University Dodge.....they usually have the truck in and out on the same day...I believe there is a Viper Tech there too?? If not I see a lot of Vipers and SRT8's & 10's there! A+++++ Planet Dodge is also pretty good and a big dealer

Friends, lets try to get the names of the Viper tech's. Just ask the service manager, usually they will have the Viper Tech come out to meet you.

If we can capture as many names of certified Viper Tech's as possible, we will be better positioned for future help if, something terrible happens to Chrysler...

I sure hope my dealership here in DFW would rank high

Frank Kent Dodge, Fort Worth, TX 76116:rock:

Just thought this would be a logical thread to start.

Request: Positive and negative comments, and do what you can to keep it fair and civil...would be great if we could keep it clean enough to avoid being relegated to the "Offensive Section".

Think before you post (I know that is a really tough request for some of us that have been here since the start, but try.).

The facts please...Start your post with the name of the Dealership and the city they are in, that way searches will be much easier...and it will become a useful resource for new members.

One dealership per post, if you have multiple experiences, use multiple posts...

Ok, lets see how this goes...

Have visited for parts eight or ten times now...they give me a discount and want to look at my truck each time. I bet the GM is pissed because all the mechanics stop working to come and look at my supercharger!

Fowler Dodge in OKC, OK, they use common sense with the warrenty, don't expect a replaced engine if you've ran a 200 shot. but they are willing to work with modified vehicles without voiding the warrenty. Lucas was the service guy I talked to!!

crap, I didn't get the name of the viper tech, right now they only have one, but have another coming later on this year.

Anyone else have comments about a dealer they have dealt with recently?

My local dealer is Michael Motors in Gassaway, WV. They do not have a Viper Tech and I wouldn't let them near my truck. They would be hard pressed to even order parts. I don't know how they stay in business.
I do all my work myself and order parts from Bert Wolfe Dodge in Charleston,WV.

Hunter Dodge in Lancaster Calif.

Great Service Manager, Tech Writer is awesome, had a couple issues with them leaving the truck a mess after replacing the Power Steering, but the Tech Writer made them go back and detail it. They pretty much keep me happy.

Waynesburg Dodge.

They pretty much fail in every category. I took my vehicle there for her 40k mile tranny service which cost me about $250, which I thought was reasonable. As I was leaving I decided to have them due the plugs and then something told me to just ask the price. They quoted me 500 BONES! I actually laughed out loud. The guys are like "what's wrong?" They said they had done 2 the previous week and it is a minimum of 5 hours of labor with an experienced tech. I said no thanks and left. The plugs cost me around $20 and took me less than 45 minutes to get it done(including gapping). Around a month later I went in and told them I wanted to have my bands adjusted. They looked at me like I was a retard and told me trucks didn't have them anymore. After a debate they still didn't believe me. I walked out shaking my head.
