You should look at Pro Volute from steve morrison for your intake, Big hp increase due to some vary interesting fluid dynamics

I have one to try, not streetable at all though, and super expensive. Ill have data from 4 different air filter/inlet setups, trying two different intercoolers also.

I like the scrub bag and the K&N filter, way to risky with just a screen and I agree the screen to me looks cheap and a quick fix.
