Yes! Dom had a full pickup bed as well :)
No support vehicles, no trailering of vehicle. The point is to proclaim the fastest "Street Car/Truck"! Must be registered, inspected, pass DOT inspection. Imagine half the class cruising the highway with parachutes on back and wheelie bars ;)
Badarss!! Some are 2500hp! One ran 6.90 and another had fast top speed of 212! The Larry Larson Chevelle is quickest, the 57' Chevy holds fastest! And they drive between tracks!
 
I thought Larson was running a Chevy II
 
They were still racing, doing the brackets for the daily driver. Looks like they are at a stand still now.
