if you happen to buy one of moe's performance driveshaft loops & don't have a stock exhaust - it won't fit worth a damn.......:(

i moved the loop holes back 4.5" to make it clear everything & install like it should of in the first place.......:)

so if you buy one from bob miller, request, no require the holes to be back 4.5" or you'll have to modify yourself (bob wasn't willing to help on this:( )........

Great heads up!!
Thanks for the info!!!:burnout:

You must be doing something wrong because mine went in just fine, and I don't have a stock exhaust.

nope.:)

you can see from the pics that even with my mod, it only clears the mid pipe by ~1".......
my suggestion to bob was to add extra holes to his design to adapt to all exhaust requirements...... hope he does it. :dontknow:

even on roy's, he had to angle back the lower part of the loop to get clearance:

What are the other vendors for loops if any? Something all cars/trucks should have IMO. Little cost for such a great value, life.
Hit a pot hole with your driveshaft haning ten and you'll soon earn gold in pole vaulting.

stinker was going to make one but didn't.

Damn didn't think about drilling additional holes for the drop loop!

One more thing for the todo list!

Thanks for the clear thinking...it gets harder and harder every day...the thinking that is.

the actual nhra rules state that the loop has to be within a certain number of inches from the u-joint (10" i think), but mine is now like 12"...... better than nothing @ all & PIR isn't that sticky on the rules - long as ya got a loop....... :D

Didn't have a problem with an install on an 04 a couple of years ago.

Moes was prototyped on my old truck and it fit awesome!

Not sure why yours didn't come out right. Glad you got it figured out though.

Hey whats the point of this mod? Just asking. I am assuming it protect the under body if the drive shaft ever breaks or something?

keeps you from pole vaulting....
