Drop in Oil pressure and schreeching sounds

depends on what, if any damage, i would get the crank completely checked out.

would not hurt to check line bore. possible billet main caps & ARP bolts

new oil pump

if ya go with a cam, been proven too many times, get the heads worked

torque plate/hone cyl. to see what pistons you'll need

Question...

Worst case scenario. I decide to rebuild the motor. I'd go with Roe Forged internals. The $2k one. Other than bearings, seals, pistons and rods- what else do you think i'd have to replace? Might as well do a cam while i'm at it- do you think it's possible to have any head damage at this point?

At this point I would think just bearings and seals. I'd start with the oil sample first then change the oil and take another sample after about 1000 miles. The sample after 1k will tell you if you did enough damage to cause it to keep eating itself alive or if its ok.
