drove my truck for the first time yesterday since the rebuild and woodys accident. I finished woodys engine about a week before i finished mine, and i got the courage yesterday to put it back on the road. I had decided to sell it but my family convinced me to keep it.We did have a lot of fun with the trucks. The only difference now is that i will never run it on the street again. My wife has a shelby and we use to run them a small rural airport outside of augusta, she would always pull me about three lenghts with the s/c. We went down early this morning and run and she can only pull me by about 1 and a half with the mechanical build. I am really impressed with the engine compared to before. I would suggest to the guys who are just starting out to look closley to building their motors before they start adding s/c or nitrous. The cost is expensive but so are the other options.
