Brand name of the Dyno is "Dyno Dynamics" it is a Mustang Style Dyno..

Yea, the guy was impressed that it made that power running that rich. He started to hint about a performance tune until I told him that would be a DC or Roe only mission... :)

We have a Dyno Dynamics here. It's a VERY stingy unit and it's hard to get big numbers on it.

So with it being Stingy, I should consider these "Safe" numbers to start with?

Ok, I am officially Happy !!!! Thanks for the compliment guys.. :)

BTW I am EXTREAMLY Honored that I got your 1000th Post... :) :) :)

Now when I get a few dollars... The CAI, Cat-Back and DC Tune. Then when I win the Lottery Long Tube Headers, High Flow Cats and Mids. Trany Upgrade Kit would also be nice to put on the list.

I already have the Printout in my truck's Baby Book (3 Ring Binder with every bit of maint I have had done to it)

Chief- Would you mind asking him what ramp up rate and load he was using for your pulls? For example, I have my ramp rate at 12 under a heavy load when I do mine. Just curious...
B.T.W. Dyno Dynamic dynos are reported to be "a standard" 15% LOWER than a Dynojet when reading through many Internet posts.

DAMN!!!!! Those are some STRONG #'s for a Mustang Dyno!!!! :congrats: :congrats:

I think they put all the freak engines in the 06's! :D

Just so you guys know I have had several pulls on that same dyno. The shop Chief went to are the people that installed my turbo. They have done dyno runs for me and Jrgnd. On the same dyno my numbers were:
Stage 1 flash 420 RWHP and 460 TRQ
Stage 2 flash 438 RWHP and 500 TRQ

Chiefs numbers are very high for a stock QC. I would even wonder if there was a flash already installed and not known. But with those high of numbers on stock I would only go to Roe for a SCT.

I will be working about a block from there tomorrow. I will be happy to drop by and ask him the ramp rate...

Did you notice that the graph shows he did the Pull exactly as you described..

Disconnected the Cable, Pressed the Tow/Haul Button, RPMs at 3600-3800, Flipped the Switch and Dropped the Hammer..... :)

He did this on his own without me needing to say a word or make a suggestion... :)

The thought that it may have a Flash on it did cross my mind. However, with the A/F still at 10 to 1 leads me to think no Flash is on it. That would be one of the First things that would show up.

I am going to put the truck in the shop in 2 weeks for the 33K Rear End Servicing and will have the Viper Tech check the Timing Advance on it. That would be the Red Flag of a Tune.

Will be happy to keep you posted as to the results.

I can't take credit for the cable disconnect (that was someone else's suggestion) because I don't do that during my own pulls; but I think the overall setup gave you the info you were after to get peak power numbers. Regardless, you now have a baseline (and a file with the operator) so he can use the same settings every time you are there. Dyno Dynamics dynos seem very repeatable and are also very close to the numbers a Mustang dyno produces.

I'm glad you were more than happy with the results. Now...about that performance flash you REALLY need to buy....:D

Great numbers! I like the Dyno Dynamics sales crew. I considered thier dyno when I bought mine. Very good stuff about them.

I would get the A/F redone closer to the engine. Taking the reading waaaayyyy back there is not going to be accurate.

I hope my baseline numbers are even at the 400 mark. :)

Did you get a chance to see the 8/9 results? I wasn't on there this year. :( I hope to make that list before I retire. :)

When I did this pull I was simply looking for a "Base Line". From what I have been reading, taking the A/F reading with a Clip On to the exhause throws the number of by 0.2 percent. If I am wrong please let me know.

When I get ready to mod, I plan to put a "Bung" into the exhaust close to the Factory O2 Sensor. That way I can get the numbers correct and have a accurate tune.

Thanks for the suggestion.
