Any body use the ebay long tube headers? They seem great for the buck, made by obx, never heard of them. Sell for a grand and there stainless steel, 1.75 tubes, 3" collector. :burnout:

The old rule of "you get what you pay for" applies. Some have used them other cars and advised they work great while others have said they were wasted slabs of metal that could have been better used to make something else.
Save up and buy the well known brands for our trucks, which arent many since we have such a limited market.

Belanger, Billy Boat or American Racing Headers.
I had a set of Billy Boats that I sold to ViperPete and they are on his truck now, great quality. I just put a set of ARHs on a Hemi Ram and the quality was superb! Others have had quality experiences with Belangers, however I have no personal experience with them. Choosing either one of these 3 will give you your desired results.

I'll be going with the ARH's into a magnaflow once im done doing the routine maintenance on this truck. One pay check at a time.......... This past week it was new brakes and rotors.
Next pay period its an emission gremlin.

They may be just fine, but do you really want to take that $1000 gamble?
We had ARH's made for a couple LS swapped Datsun's here and they were perfect...
I'm still bitter I had an issue with a dickbeater sales guy years ago, but their quality and fitment is still top notch...

I have had American Racing Headers on everything, never an issue. This truck came with Belangers and I have no plans to swap them out.
However someone gave me a brand new in the box set of pacesetters for my 04 F150 because they had traded theirs in before installing. I was never a fan of cheap headers but figured why not, they where free!
Well long story short, they didn't fit worth a damn, never could get on side to stop leaking and it drove me insane!

f1 blower or QUALITY turbo
Want to add a power adder. How is the jmb f1 kit? How much power will it give me with QUALITY bolt ons and stock short block? But plan on forging the bottom end. It seems like most viper cars are turbocharged, is that because there lite? :rock:

Your best bet is to talk with Justin directly. He knows his forced induction Vipers and can get you what you need.

I may try the OBX Ebay headers but wont be able to install till Aug.
I have a twin turbo 406 using OBX headers because they happen to be in stock the day I wanted to seat the motor in a car. They work great, just need to check the welds and the straightness of the flange but for the abuse they get they are great. I also run a set of OBX headers on a 1932 Dodge with a 4-71 blown 4.3 V6. I run a set of M&M headers and pipes on my Viper and could not be happier. Don't stick to the main stream brands out of ignorance and fear. Some of these knock off headers have earned the right to sit on the sideline but OBX has come a long way. Everyone has to remember that the price reflects the sales market.
