Electric cutouts..

I'm not sure if my cut outs were the same manufacturer or not however they are the exact same style and design. I had ordered them with my JMB mids. All I can say is they lasted less than 8 hours of driving time before the rubber melted and the electric motor fell off. I was not happy with them at all. I would not suggest getting any that have any rubber on them at all for obvious reasons. Also look at how the motor is attached to the plate assembly and make sure its not held in with 2 small bolts that easily break and rattle off due to heat and or vibration.

No warranty? There is another brand that come with a 1 year warranty. I'll try and come up with the info for you. We have a guy on the HD forum that runs them and has had them on for a year or so and uses them almost every day. I'll try and get more for you.

We got them warrantied (they were QTP cutouts), there is an all metal version, I cant think of the company name, but thats definitely who I will be using from now on. Its sad that Brad and I had to deal with the hassle from the poor quality.

JMB Justin has been a stand up guy and returned the cutouts to the manufacturer and has issued me a full refund.  They were willing to replace them with the exact same model but I said no because it was just a bad design to start with. I believe there are better ones that are two times more expensive with no rubber and a better design. I might get those later.

I was thinking, if you had enough heat to damage those cutouts, you were possibly running way too lean. That looks exactly like the electric cutout I use on my race car and even under full boost and with my turbo glowing red hot, the cutout is not damaged at all.

maybe you got a dud??

Must have been a dud as I was running 12 to 1 AF mixture under WOT. Still how come the motor to the electric motor vibrated loose and fell off.

they gave you the mustang version hahaha

will these give u any hp gain or just make the engine lose to much back pressure and then suck the power out of it??? i heard these v10s need a bit of backpressure

From what I understand you will loose a little torque but gain HP. For the 1/4 you will loose a little on your 60 and gain MPH on your trap speed.
