Engine light on ?

Mines still off for the last hose replacement the other day and reset codes .. last time it took about 20 miles to come back on and a few days .. im getting close to another 20 miles now ,, keeping my fingers crossed but am doubtful it will stay off ..

Did you make a smoke machine or use one ?

Uh mmmmm mtough question ... Now let me see :D , 05 Red's !

Now tell us what the dang problem was hahahaha !
I picked up a replacement OEM gas cap, popped it on and after a spirited drive on the local highway the CEL pulled a Huudeeni and is now absent with leave.

no Smoke machine, but i am guessing it will be back at some point.

Power of positive thinking! Hahaha!
Remember their must be positive and negative or the vehicle wont start .. and the probabillity is 100% the light and codes wont come back hahahah !

Ignoid light on again ... 0455 again ..
replace 3 more hose under the hood .... wow that was fun ! Had to un bolt and lift the entire fuse box and still thread the hose like threading needle and blind mans bluff.. Wow, who the heck designed this dakota truck ? Maybe I should start at the other end of the truck and replace the gas cap again hahaha .

Well while getting more hose I decided to replace the new swaybar link bushings with poly bushings ( installed in about 15 minutes) .. the sway bar bushings are a royal pain to find out what size it needs .. nobody and on line seems to know the proper size needed .. my swaybar is 1 5/8 inch and reading reviews , looking at a ton of bushings am totally unsure of a replacement ..they must be withing 1 mm to fit .. advance and auto zone didnt have any but had a price of 30$ , WHAT THE HECK for 2 pieces of rubber others where even higher ... maybe ill just start tearing it apart and selling each nut , bolt and part and probably make 150k lol

Maybe it's a faulty light! Hahahaha

You keep fixing stuff and it's never happy. But it keeps running better each fix - right?

If i keep doing stuffs to it its value will be more that the 10 when they were new lol ..
Clutch and brake pedal pad or next .
Still need to find or possibly fix the glove compartment door and the console lid ..

Then , as soon as I choose the ones I want for the 10 .. the overhead console color is my problem ( any idea on that ? ) , the door controlls bezel color ( any idea on those ? )
The overhead console has options I have found but havent decided which way to go about it .. the light button on the left broke which is all it needs to fix it ,,, i have found the button , i have found the complete wire harrness and the cover with wiring included .. im leaning towardt the harness due to not sure about color matching .. the harness is cheap just need to know if the connections are the same as in the 10 .. The buttons should work but again am unsure , their cheaper .. heck the entire cover is cheap and appears very easy install ..
I wish I could find the factory part numbers on those parts without tearing things apart !

These are the parts im looking at on amazon at the moment to make a verification to purchase .

Have you looked for the part numbers in the manuals that are posted on here? Tried X2 for originals? I like original looking stuff too so maybe the harness for the light if that's easy and for the window bezels I might change those out to something I could find as long as both sides match - that would mean getting extra to do the passenger side - then there's the back of those would need to match

Trying to find originals like the chrome button window controller with the exact lettering as mine is nowhere to be found , even stinker said he couldnt find them .
Cross referencing part numbers is what im looking for ,, Im not paying what they want for factory replacments that are no different than aftermarket on these small tidbits .. the money saved is money earned and have more cash to get whatever else i need . Possibly even better parts than Mopar cheap plastic ...

The colors screw mw up looking ,,mold eyes dont work like they use to ... even taking pics screws me up worse lol as you can see in the door control pics IMG_1379.jpegIMG_1378.jpegIMG_1375.jpegIMG_1377.jpeg

IMO Get aftermarket ones but replace all doors so they match and i personally wouldn't worry about the button color or words as long as the ones i put on were all the same. I probably wouldn't worry about the back unless they are messed up that would save money for originals if you come across them

If it's going to be restored and all that then yes i would look for the originals along the way. And of course you always keep what you take off - :D

No one will ever even know unless they are experts on the 10 hahahaha

The dark ones on Amazon look nice and would match the other dark areas of the interior

But the expense wont out way the gains with mopar part numbers stamped on them IMO ... as long as they look factory , nobody is going to tear parts off to check them .. even on a restore they use after market remanufactured parts since most restores arent done with factory parts because they no longer make them or exist. With the 10s the numbers of thing dont even relate to the vin , like motors , transmissions etc.

I agree they would work fine ... hlack , gray and beige seem to be the colors Ive found ...so gray and black are the good options just for the bezels .. the overhead need tomit appears in mympic a gray and the sellers have conflicting pic and the colors need to be checked ....
What the heck does Beige look like ,,, snt that a tanish looking color ?
