It means you system is leaking gas fumes hahaha ..Just like my dakota is .. my code Code is p0455
Cracked or leaking hose from he front of the truck back to the gas tank ... it could just be the gas cap .. possibly a o-ring at the charcoal canister under the truck .. the hose at the charcoal canister being split tends to be common .. should be easy to narrow the easy stuff down ..

Could he ,, hit I crawled under the truck to check the hose and did find on to the charcoal canaster cracked .. freaking dodge use some plastcic hoes that is hooked on oneside of a elbow ,, one side is a tiny hose and the other side is about 1/2 larger much larger hose .. that means I have to make a new piece work and 2 different size hoses ... hopefully I can find what i need or maybe just capping off the evap system will take care of the code ..
Yeah I made it back out from under the truck in one piece hahaha .

I have put a new gas cap on when that code popped up years ago .. didnt fix it .. I still have the old factory gas cap somewhere buried in my mess hahaha !
Hopefully the newly found cracked hose will fix it ..

This is the entire hose from the canister to appears the gas tank .. Ill be damned if ineed to remove the gas tank to replace the entire hose

You have to drop the gas tank and hope the hose is cracked or the problem ,,,. No dont have to do it either ,, so what if some fumes float out into the air .. been doing that forever ..

So who is going to do it for you hahaha
