Allright after all the pms about our most recent GTG at panama, I guess there should be a poll for a possible next , the outcome now still may not be set in stone, alot of things determine the outcome, one being cost.
So I figure Right off the top of my head 3 choices.
One is Bradenton Fla, near Sarasota, tampa area, its one of the best 1/4 mile tracks in th SE. and close to a ton of thing to do, plus flights in are reasonable.. The beach is close as well as a ton of other activities.
Then there is Panama Fla, the people at the track were awesome, we had the run of the track and worked with us great, we basically did what we wanted, all day. plus close to the beach, accomodations were reasonable also.and plenty of beach time, down fall 1/8 mile track, but it sure didnt seem to hurt any of the competition.
then there is atlanta dragway, good 1/4 mile track, but we need to be able to have two trucks to be able to race at one time. I'm sure there is something to do in the area, especailly eat.
There is also Rockingham NC, awesome track, but ya got to travel to charlotte for anything to do, its in the middle of nowhere, or we could do the camping thing, that could be fun.
Whatever the outcome remember it will be decided by the terms of the track, we need to be able to race, we need to be able to afford the track,it has to be a saturday, so people can ride home in no hurry on sunday.
After the poll starts dying, we will take first down , call them and check on possibilities.
Eddie and I were also talking about the Nats, we may go, bbut only to see the people, we spent thousands last year only to hang out , look at cars, then eat, not much else was done. So it may jsut be a visit this year for us, probably truckless.
So think aobut it before you vote, its more about the people than the trucks, the trucks jsut get us to the people:rock:
Who knows, we may end up with two GTG's for everyone.
