When we checked in at the Moonspinner the lady told me if we had made our reservations as a group we could have gotten up to a 20% discount. I will check on that as soon as we set a final date.
 
Im marking down a few weekends in September until the final dates are set.
I so want to make it for this one. Stinker and I have some catching up to do. :D

So much fun......

Panama city is a great venue for this, there is soooo much to do there.

Rental vehicles shouled be allowed if the person would have to drive over 600-800 miles to get to the GTG.

So that settles that, rental cars are OK if your name is FSTJACK.

Roz is using a picture of me as his avitar (thanks Jimi) and anybody that would be afraid of a fat, broken old man on the race track needs to take the Frank Hawley Drag Racing 101 course. Get a grip. Untill I get something running it is still fun and games. This is just about fun, and meeting people. And maybe a little to do with racing....HE HE HE

This was the most fun I've had in a long time.

I wish it was not so far away (1900 miles for me to drive each way) as I would like to drive the red truck there. It would cost 1280.00 in gas at 4.00 per gallon. 6 Nights in motels in route and back ( approx 500.00 + food 180.00) appprox total to drive 1960.00.
The air fare was 475.00 and the rental car was 135.00 and burned 85.00 in gas for a total 695.00 to fly. Condo food track and misc was about 1200.00 and worth every penny.
 
Short list of things to do...........

thursday.

little bit of unwinding, beach time, maybe a cruise down the strip, trip to the go kart rides, jet skis, just hanging and having fun:rock:

friday , saturday.

not sure yet, have to check with the track on rental and so on.

one day will be the track, this time we had it from about 10 am til 5pm, then back to hotel, possible small cookout.


the other day, a small truck show at G-mans dealership till nooon or 1-2pm, then back to possibly the park for a large cook out, pics so on, and more beach time.

Can we also get a small list of possibles to attend the Panama VTCOA nationals, jsut the get an idea of whom may attend?

I would much rather do this than the mopar nats as well, as its been said, if your going to just hang and socialize, why not do it on the beach instead of under a tent. Plus much more racing! Just my .02
