On 28" slicks of Justin's this night. 110 mph
I think a 30" tire would be perfect but I still love my 32"!

Yeah Ive always been a lifter but may try no lift a few times to see the difference.
 
Oh, 28" that explains the 6,000 in 4th....I thought you were doing that with the 32" slicks.....Man, I thought you were hiding something.;):D:burnout:

Just experimenting! I think 28" are perfect for 4.10 gears though. My 32" slick are identical to the height of my 22's and I like that. Same feel in Mexico as on the track. Speaking of Mexico, I met up with Trainman's Nemesis ArrestmeRed and his wife's 300 SRT! Had dinner and some fun runs in Mexico ;)
I faired a lot better than our encounter a year ago:rock:

Not a nemesis anymore (really never was), Justin and I are best buds, great respect....I almost feel bad that I am finally doing a rebuild.

ill rebuild one day too, but at the rate I'm going I might be as old as you...:D
 
Ok I didn't mean nemesis in a bad way, kinda like a huckleberry I guess. I remember y'all posting slips back to back over the years and both being red really brought out the rivalry :)
Honestly, I'd be interested in seeing all of our trucks run a great DA run with one mod added! FRESH valve springs! I'd almost put money on us all picking up a couple tenths:rock:
Not only does mine have 95000 miles, but hundreds of passes in Mexico and track! Not to mention a few 4th to 2nd shifts :eek:
Although its was only a split second, springs are subject to floating the valves. I believe I'll do this soon just to see and check for slightly bent pushrods!
Although she's done nothing but get faster, lol.
