So i was heading south on i-45 (north houston) this afternoon...and out of the corner of my eye, on the access road...is a light blue 430 spyder, hoping and praying that it would jump on the interstate.
well, my dream came true and they poped on the interstate about a half mile back of me...so i slowed down and hopped over a couple lanes and waited for him. hear she came...sleak and pretty...she pulled up next to me in light traffic and i slid the joystick in 2nd gear. prime spot for me. i thought he down shifted and thought was ready...waited a sec and he punched it...i went the same and he pulled out (hehehehe)
well i slowed down and he passed me...this thing still had dealer tags on it..i think it was used...anyway i think the guy was test driving it...it had EXPO motorsports tags on it..anyway... i catch up this time and we both slow down to aound 35 again...its a paddle shifter (the ferrari..obviously) and i see the, only what i can assume is the salesman , telling him to drop it down a gear...so he is ready and so am i...i let him get the jump...about a 1/4 car...i nailed it and realled him in nicely..power shifted 3rd.. and pulled ahead...by the end of 3rd i had a good car on him...shifted into 4th and was in it for a 2 sec and he let off... i dont think he could hear that ferrari over my pipes...
they rolled up next to me a moment later and the salesman gave me the thumbs up....
i can only assume that being beat by a truck...that the guy didnt buy it....i thought about going up to the dealership later and asking him if he sold it...but didnt.....chalk up #2 ferrari kill for the beast....:rock: :rock: :rock: :rock: :rock:
