Well when I got my truck approx 2 weeks ago it did not come with the key to the locking lug. I went to the dealer a couple of days ago to get them taken off and replaced. After I dropped my truck off they called me and said we can't get them off and you need to sign a waiver in case we damage the wheel. I opted to pick it up and not sign the waiver hoping to find someone else. Today I washed the wheel and what was hiding under the lovely coat of brake dust? A bunch of little dings right around the locking lug that they attempted to take off the previous day. So back I go to the dealer and speak with the service manager who turned out to be very cool. Said he will take care of it. It turns out the guy who did this is their best mechanic and thier Viper guy also
. I understand that people make mistakes but it you screw something up man up to it. Dont hide it and pretend nothing happened. Looks like I will be looking for another Viper tech since now I cannot trust this ones work.
