Well get an exhaust shop to weld the pipe into place. And i'm sure they can crush it down to 2.5 from 3.

As for the Magnaflow, isn't it 3"??? I know mine is.

This is what i thought.... but Dave @ Roe thinks differently.. i wanted to
do the install at home as i am the DIY kinda guy.. i was hopin that i could
just swap the catless pipes with the cat pipes when ever i felt like it.. :dontknow:

I have The header back system, I have no complaints. It sounds very unique!

I haven't looked through one but I have heard the Magnaflow narrows to 2.5" inside at the crossover. I think it also comes with necked-down 2.5" inlets so that it can easily clamp or weld up to the stock plumbing.

Man I love this place. You have all been so helpful in this decision. that really sucks that the B&B is soooo much and they wont even cover the damage, ghey.

I have the full B&B system from the manilfolds back. So. far, no problems, love the sound and no nasty resonating.

The headers alone are $2895.00 here in Canada, so quit your whining..:p

State your case to the B&B DEALER instead of B&B themselves. The Dealers seem to have strength in negotiation because of the volume they move for B&B, I suppose.

Heres a clip of the B&B catback.

Dont have a clip of with the headers and mids, but its mostly the same just throatier and backpressure pops are louder.

Dont mind the tips being crooked, all fixed now.

i use the B&B header back with the paxton and a few other mods and no spliting of the muffler. sound is awsome ,real deep, does not sound like a viper at all. the price of the whole system is expensive but quality and finish is top notch. Not sure what you mean by hp crazy but im making 702 at the rear wheels and no problems. the exhaust is pretty free flowing did 4 pulls on the dyno 2 with the electric cut outs closed and 2 open. got 12 hp and 15ft lbs of torque with them open over closed.

Alright here's the scoop + a Q for the older folks here or the young ones that
know there stuff...

I just talked to Dave and he informed me that the inlet to the Magnaflow
is 2 1/2" and the midpipe coming from the B&B is 3".... he explained to me that
i should cut some pipe and tell him to ship more after i do something...
wondering if there is an easier way to get this fitted...

so to recap 3" -> 2 1/2" how do i do it.. with no leaks (hopefully)

Thanks,

Sharpi

The inlet on the MagnaFlow goes down to 2 1/2" to attach to factory pipes, but you can cut that part off and it will be 3".That is how I did mine to attach to 3" catless mids.Take a look under your truck and you will see what I mean. Any decent muffler shop can fix you up very easily.

I have just had the BB Headers and mid-pipes put on my truck, The problem I'm running into is that they do not line up real well with my Magna Flow cat-back system. I will try to show you guys some pictures.

Sorta off topic except that Bellangers have already been mentioned. I got mine in January and have loved them. Just noticed last weekend however that I'm getting some cracks in the coating on a couple of tubes on each side. Oh well. Might need to be on your list of considerations as you collate the data for selection.

part of the reason i'm going with b&b full exhaust....... shorter mid-pipes & flanged on both ends for easier swap out...... other part is the awesome sound !!! :D

Are you going to do any kind of coating to the headers?
i had a posting awhile back about who has & who they went with....... the majority said jet-hot, so that's whom i'm going to have coat my headers.......:D

Well I thought I had finally settled on an exhaust set up, full B&B from headers back. Before I plop $3,500-$3,800 on this beast is it worth it? :dontknow: I read that these mufflers are splitting (under huge loads of power) and I think that I remember someone saying they are not free flowing. Now I feel just as confused as before. PLEASE shed some light on this for me. Thanks guys:D

Gab..
Dave Venski stated that the muffler has a residual detonation with nitrous. ( We were discussing the 325 shot of nitrous post) and actually burns it out, I talked to B&B. Dennis Hannes stated they do warrantee their exhaust with the Roe s/c setup but any nitrous would void their warrantee. :(
FYI Cheers,
Perry
