Front hub bearings?help!

I think my front driverside hub bearing is going. Does anyone know if they are bolt in or press in? I believe my last truck where press in bearings, and it was a pain. Also does anyone know a good place to get decent bearings for cheep?

What about the Timken ones from rockauto? They come with some sensor for $123.79. Im am worried dealer price is going to be waaaaaay above that.

You can usually get them from your local Autozone, O Reilly, etc. and get a better warranty ;-) we do have ABS and there are speed sensors in front hubs. That price is about average sir

When mine went, the dealer wanted around $400 per hub plus some ass raping labor charges.

Do a quick Google search for Advance/Autozone/O'reillys coupon codes and save yourself another 10-15%.

I ended up getting my hubs for $109.99 during a sale they were having.

The best way to tell if they are shot is to jack up your truck and then try and wiggle the wheel side to side and in and out. If there is play, the bearing is shot. If not then you have a different problem.

There should also be considerable noise coming from that side of the truck. I had my drivers side front go.

They usually go real close in time together. Best practice for the price is replace both. Not fun when the bearing finally freezes and causes much more money in damage
They are easy to change as well. Usually if you hear a him or roar in slight corners ( bend in highway/road that you maintain 45/65 mph) that's a telltale sign.
