Front Rotor Question???????

Anyone happen to know the Minimum thickness for the front rotors?

Its too sloppy wet with snow and rain to pull off a tire and get underneath to check it.

Yeah I think its stamped on the inside of the rotor.

I was just hoping that someone already had a wheel up in the air or a rotor off to check.

I read 33.9 and i think brand new is 36?

Damn if the fronts differ i may as well pull the truck in this weekend and check. Hopein i was gunnah be alright.

All front rotors match up with all years though right?

I missread somthing in the manual, I would guess they are all the same, it doesnt specify in the manual , just says the minimum thickness is stamped on the inside of the rotor
I got 12,000 miles on my 04 and still have stock pads, with plenty left, and the rotor measures 36mm

OK much better.

I think i gottah get mine mic'd anyway so gunnah tear down and have em checked. This will be turn #2 and I don'e think they will be worth turning since i have 60K miles on them and they are pretty bad on the vipbration/warping.

I'll see how bad they are. But i am pretty much thinking i need new ones. It's winter anyway and not much driving here.

Hell this keeps up i won't be makin the AZ trip next week.

I've got just over 50K on my truck and have turned my rotors once. At turning my rotors were right at the min thickness and that was some 15K miles ago. I just put new rotors on the rear and will be putting these on the front...
