has ANYONE replaced there front rotors?if so,where did you get them?the only place so far i have found is the stealership and those crooks want 290.00 ea.i have searched far and wide and come up with noda.all the aftermarket places claim they got (or can get) drilled and slotted but when i go to buy them it`s a different story blablabla.i even ordered a set from summit racing equipment,(PWR-8750XPR Cragar Cryogenic, Cross-Drilled/Slotted)the first ship date was 3/14/07,now its 4/13/07.god forbid if any of us actually needs a set....THEY DONT EXIST.:dontknow:

I can get them from my dealer for way cheaper if you go that route...

EBC makes aftermarket rotors. PerfectBrakes.Com shows a slotted/dimpled EBC set for $198.
They have an OEM set which assumably sells for less but you have to email for the price.

Found this in a past thread. Might help

Also AutoPartsWarehouse.Com has the same EBC slotted/dimpled rotors for about $20 less (and also a PowerStop Cross-drilled brand - same price per pair):

if only there were a big 10 near me.:(

Try a local muffler and brake shop. They will most definitely have a brake rotor turning machine. Also, if you are putting new pads on, the rotors need to be surfaced.

The rotors are throw away items. I replaced mine at 25,000 miles. Bought them from a dealer at trade price.

There are some places that can't handle rotors our size. I pulled my rotors myself and carried them down to my local dealership. $30 later, Nice smooth stops. If you take your truck too them to have it done your looking at approx. $100.

Dennis I haven't done the fronts but i did replace my back ones since one of them was cracked real bad. I got the EBC rotors that are slotted and dimpled. They work good, look good and I got them for a steal.....140 for both rears! After I installed them I wanted some for the fronts but they had gone up to like 220 for both on the same site which I forget which one it was.
