I wasnt expecting that either or I would have told Jack upfront, I really thought 8psi was attainable with the bigger lower pulley, but it didnt work out that way. He will be soooo much happier with the new setup, it will be so far beyond a paxton in every way, I cant wait!
Justin

good, make papa happy.......:D

Heck no wasnt talking to you:p BUT! you should have known a paxton wasnt going to feed those big ol heads , the overlapping cam and huge intake;)

but as far as turbos................we shall see:p

But honestly I am done in the hp war, I jsut want to drive mine, enjoy it, play with it, and drive it some more......hmmmmmmmm .....sounds kinda like the ol lady:D

BULLSHIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!

LOLOL honestly Jack I am  I am going to rebuild the brutal 10, go with a 530 block, 76mm turbos and probably be capable of around 14-1500rwhp, and tune it back to around 7-800rwhp ,

very safe tune, enjoy the truck and watch ya'll beat each other up:p

It's just a shade over stock displacement.

The intake was built specifically for my truck's build. Heads, cam, etc., were all factored in to it's construction.

The F2 ought to make about as much boost as the engine can tolerate.;)

Well that explains why you have a problem feeding that monster.

If you don't have too big of a problem with traction already I would do the F2. It's internal ration is lower (5.4:1) than the F2-R's (6.24:1). Personally I would ask them if they could do the 4.10:1 ratio in it. With smaller pulleys you can get more boost down low without overrunning it at peak RPM (if you can control belt slip).

More boost down low would be counterproductive. I suspect I will have an electronic boost management system once this is done to help with traction and flatten the torque curve.

There will be no issue with belt slippage. It's a cog drive system.;)

.

Then I would go for the F2-R. Very little down low but will spool up tremendously in the end!
My build is for an AWD truck so my limitation is not traction it is breaking the transfer case. Once I upgrade it using Hummer H1 parts 1st gear will be limited to 1000ft/lbs of TQ (2400ft/lb max input) so then it is the next part in the chain.

guys I am packaging up my manifolds tommorrow to send to pirateman to see about duplicating them, as soon as I get a price I will let everyone know.

I figure just the manifolds and the down pipes, the intercooler is a simple set up and most can fab up there own.

Scrambler...................superchargers are super nice, but turbos make the power thrice:D

you , Fstjack, and Ramfrom hell alll have 1500rwhp capabilities:rock: :burnout:

so what know one wants a supercharged turbo? If you make the pipes stink and my boss sponsers me you guys will see a supercharged turboized truck, I had the turbo and the rest of the stuff before I bought the truck all I needed was a maifold and my welding skills are not good enough for that type of welding, UGLYY. So let me know on that. But seriously a fiberglass bed is in the works:p :aetsch: :ridinghorse:

So you keep telling me :D That's why I built the motor the way I did, so that turbos could be an option eventually. Well I'm just getting mad with no reason right now, I may be real mad by the time you see me on Friday.

I'll let momma turn that frown into a smile:D

Oh Well

It has been hashed over here so much there is nothing more to say, so I will put up some pics of what we are going to take apart.

Justin and Marty did a beautiful job of fabricating, installing, and beautifying my red hot rod.

The pics do not do this justice at all, it is sooooooo much better in person. This is just a very small over view of what is there. Most of the trick stuff cannot be seen as it is hidden very well. Just an example, the 7 solenoids behind the manifold for the 2 stages of nitrous.

We are going to go to a F2 ProCharger with a 2" cog belt drive.

I will have a really tricked out Paxton set up for sale soon.
