Got a 2006 QC.

Just discovered that when in neutral trying to rev up the engine, it starts behaving odd around 4 300 RPM.
It starts "blubbering" and refuses to go higher that 4 500! Wierd?!?!

Car has 2 500 miles on it and only mod so far is a K&N cold air setup, could
that be the cause of the problem?

Anybody has any idea whats causing it and maybe a solution.

Cheers

Rev limiter?

Does it limit the revs all the time or only in neutral?

If you wanted to go higher in Neutral (for some reason), it won't.
But fortunately, it will go higher than 4500 when it is in gear; until
it hits the rev limiter again.

I have never had this problem.... I have run mine up to around 5k in Neutral, when I testing some new mods... now.. I did not hold it there.. just zipped it up to make sure everything was OK.
