fuel filter on srt-10

Hello.
I was wondering where is the fuel filter located and if I need to replace it where to get one? anybody replaced their fuel filters? can you tell me where to buy one and how to replace one?

I believe you are correct. I remember The Mopar Connection saying something about that.

as far as i know the only type of filter is a mesh sock on the pick up line inside the tank.

I thought you could see it between the cab and bed. I'm not sure though.

the fuel filter is serviced with the fuel pump. fuel filter is a non-servicable component.

so how can I change my fuel filter? is it inside the tank? I am in Ukraine and we have a bad gas here so we need to replace filter often like every 10k miles. where can I get one and how much is it?

just checked something... there is a listing for the 04 for the fuel filter seperately.(04-05 use the same pump) it lists for 126.00 bucks... now I have always been taught by chrysler to not replace them. to replace the fuel pump module complete if there is a problem. the fuel filter is also our fuel pressure regulator.

how much the whole asembly is?
I also have some minor problem with the fuel gauge. it is not shows accordinly. somertimes gas says quoter and then drops down one minute. so it wear off something inside the gauge reader I guess?

if you want a fuel filter that you can change frequently and easly.. just go get a nice filter cut the fuel line and install after the pump. and change that one future filter change solved
