HI My name is Jason I am currently looking into buying a Bright Silver, April 2004 built SRT10 Ram here in Australia. this truck has had a ROE supercharger fitted and has been converted Right Hand Drive. I would like to find out more about these trucks so I know what I am buying and what to look out for. I also the owner of some Chrysler Australia built muscle cars. This is my 1970 E34 track pack Chrysler Valiant Pacer
Hey welcome to the forum. There's some smart cats in here that know a ton on these trucks. The easy stuff to look for - oil cooler lines will leak. Power steering too. Easy fixes though. I've owned 3 and all of them use oil. There's a TSB on it. Even a quart per 750 miles is...normal per the factory. Now that Roe is a different beast completely. Roe I think got sold, but they're still in business in Jacksonville FL. Or somewhere.
Here are some pics of the beast that I am looking at buying, I know its no standard. I also know that it was sold from Cullman Dodge Alabama 12/4/2004.
Find out who did the build. Does it have forged internals? Who tuned it? Stock internals and supercharging don't mix if done improperly; tuning is extremely important on these engines.
If you get it congrats.. you will enjoy! I really like those valve covers.. anyone know what kind they are?
I think I have fixed the catch can issue. And that's why I got to know these trucks existed (And why I want to buy it) It was at my work place for me to sort out the catch can issue.
Not as yet, I am still raising the funds. I am lucky that he's not in a real hurry to sell it. It is one fast truck!!!!
I really don't care how much gas is, it's all about the rush of driving one of these beasts. and yes showing some of the Aussie built cars that trucks can be very fast too.
What kind of Octane do they run in Australia? in UK I saw 120 octane which would be awesome for our beasts.
