Hey guys here's two video's one showing the Gen IV shifter under full power shifting with tach, and another showing the 2006 race. Click on Shifting to see the Shifting video and click on the Racing 2006 to see the race with a Ford F-150. Let me know what you think!

It's a secret ;) ;)

That video looks awesome on the big screen.  BTW how long did the factory clutch work with your speed shifting? Also how long have you been drag racing for?

The only member that I know of that would give you a run for your money on shifting is Robert (Mopar Connection).

Wifey...Tonight...at Famoso....The shootout...you and me!!!!

Brad the stock clutch never failed, it just wouldn't handle the extra torque so I upgraded the slave and master cylinders and did the Centerforce at the same time. Actually full power shifting is probably easier on the clutch than letting up and stomping the gas again. I've been shifting since the mid-60's. I use to get paid to drive other guys cars....imagine that!!!

Can't make it tonight, but one of these days let's do it. I promise, I will let you win ;) ;)

Nice shifting mate, how cars & trucks were born to drive.
Like the technique. Semi power shift style, raise the gas 1/2 to 3/4s while kicking the clutch.

Is that the factory clutch and is that a short shifter in there?
I'm new to SRT10s so sorry about the newb questions.

Cheers,
Carl

I am completely stock except the shifter and that was pushing it for me.

I hear the guys on here talking about Center Force clutches. You can use the search feature at the top in the blue bar and find most anything on here :D

Thanks will do. Not a fan of center force myself. More money spent on advertising than the products.
But, will read up on some of the search results.

Cheers! ;)

Bro, I'm not running alot of hp myself......... only about 600rwhp. I've been told that the stock clutch is plenty for my truck.....

I'm not like some of these maniacs who drift and do huge smoke shows that last forever... I have 14,000 miles over three years and still have my original tires.....

Personally, unless yer running massive power or racing alot, I think the OEM clutch is fine..... But the clutch hydraulics must be replaced with the one from the Viper Coupe...

Thanks D, good advice and input. Of course, I'm not one to believe until I try so I was always going to drive the truck before I even considering opening my wallet for a new clutch, I will see, but, your post & comments give me good confidence that I can leave the clutch as a stock set up. Also, I will be leaving my truck it's stock 500hp @ the fly, may get an exhaust and little things but that's it. What mods have you got to get 600rwhp?

About the hydraulics. Is there just the 1 kit for the upgrade? Or are their several, what does everyone use and do you have a part number for the kit? I will get them to do it when they do a RHD conversion (mandatory in NZ).

Cheers,
Carl
