Hey guys,

I was looking at getting a classic white Hurst ball shifter part#: 530-163-0040 @ Jegs and while I was there I was thinking I could get a Hurst stick and put it on my Gen-X shifter, not sure if new holes will be needed, should be OK. Anyhow, I am looking at this Hurst shifter, part#: 530-538-4084 Longer throw, yes I know :p but it's just so classic and I have always loved the look of the HURST logo on the levers, it's so Mopar. My question, is the shifter lever handle lean/bend to the LEFT (LHD) or to the RIGHT (RHD)? If it is LHD can I just simply bolt it in so the bend is towards me in a RHD vehicle, easier reach? Or can you only put these levers in one way? Hope this makes sense.

Cheers,
Carl

The offset is too severe to make use of the stock boot, might even have a console clearance problem.

But then again, you will never really know unless you try!

it sure looks like it favors RHD. maybe keep the boot below first bend???
