I didn't wanna hi-jack Drumlines post but has anyone tried to drop the newer MOPAR NAV units from the SUVs/Trucks/Vans into an '06? I have a guy wanting to trade mine for his. It has the same steering wheel controls and is equipped with UConnect? Do you guys think it would work?

I have several customers that have swapped Mygig radio's into their 06-08 Rams. It is very time consuming but worth it according to them.

Lots of solder and heat shrink! You also have to ensure you get the proper bus speed Mygig. If you get the wrong one it won't even turn on.

Mygig in an 06 is not that hard. You need......

Early Mygig RER (Low Speed Bus 07-10)

NAVIGATION RECEIVERS : OEM Auto Parts

A Filler piece for the dash..

Mygig Factory Navigation Adapter Lockpick Retro Fit Bezel Filler | eBay

Lockpic form Coastal Electric MYGIG ADAPTER
Or
Coastal Elec Mygig Lockpick Upgrade Radio to A Mygig Radio Adapter | eBay

You will also need a GPS antenna if one does not come with the unit you buy.

And if you want U-Connect throgh the mirror...This Cable

And a new mirror.....

And if you do not have a NAV (REC) in the truck now you will need a new Bezel for the dash also ($100-$500)
