the illegals I know...Brazialians, Columbians, Mexicans, Russians are hard working family people that deserve a piece of the American dream as much as our Families did when they arrived...they work hard...stay out of trouble and contribute...I can name more "Legals" that are a drain on our economy then I can illegals...

Native Americans had laws... HARSH laws. You steal food... you get killed, or expelled (soon to be killed by wild-life)... You steal a man's woman.... you BOTH get scalped and burned at the stake... Etc.

But, mostly, the Natives had one major "flaw" that the settlers did not... Honor and Trust.... THAT is what almost got them wiped from the planet. NOT lack of "Law" (Read Bureaucracy)....

Well Kids I dont know how it is in your neck of the woods but in Washington State every native american living on the reservation gets ( not earns) gets given between $75,000 and $100,000 per year from the state and their own casinos. Man I wish someone would just give me that kind of money every year for being alive!! Meanwhile I'm writing checks for taxes amounting to better than 18% of my income!! Poor Native Americans my ass I wish I was born that lucky!!

Nope, they are definatly not "poor Native Americans"... The government gave them the shittiest land they could find to "get them out of the way"... So they had to make due. They came up with the idea of putting casinos on their land, and increasing tourism... That is pretty SMART if you ask me. Half the diamond mines in Canada and Alaska are on Indian land as well. Karma is truly a beautiful thing, ain't it Red Feather.

Have you ever been to Australia? Alot of the Natives get cash the same way our Native folks do. You know what they have in common? A good portion are unhappy with there life. Most are on a never ending state of depression and have serious problems with alcohol/drugs.

So I would be careful for what you wish for.
