HELP!!! Might trade the truck in tomorrow!!!

So to throw another wrench in the spokes, I'm waiting for word back from a Ford Dealership. I'm torn between the Charger and a new Mustang GT. I think the Mustangs are faster in stock form and are a MUCH better platform than any SRT for cheap/easy mods. Problem is, everyone has them... Argh!

I could just sit tight and try to sell the truck privately. I owe less than $33k, but I just don't see ANY QC's selling for that price now...

i have to say I love my 300 srt8 more than any other vehicle.. that's almost including the 10. however they are just 2 different to compare. i get in the 300 and say "man I love this more than the 10". I get in the 10 and say "man I love this more than the 8." they are both wonderful vehicles. but if I had to chose I would sell the 8 over the 10.

Hmm... yeah I might hold off and put the truck up for sale. We'll see. I'd love a RC, but there just doesn't seem to be any around right now. Patience and will power are two things I don't have! (Hence the SRT-10)

Our Charger SRT-8 is great, but I would have never traded the truck for one, and not ever for a Mustang (although I might for a Shelby GT500...but not a Saleen or any other "special" mustang...) SRT-10 = Exclusivity

We have considered getting rid of our truck multiple times...but we just can't do it. It is the best looking truck I have ever seen...period. And it hauls mucho AZZ.

I'd love to buy yours also...but I have to sell mine first. I'm no longer in a hurry and I'm definitely going to look into building on to my garage. IF it can be done for cheap I'll definitely do it.

Dude, please, do not get a stang over an SRT anything. they are ok cars, just a dime a dozen, or here anyway and it seems like the the little 5.0 punks drive them. I've destroyed 2 on the street with my ram and 1 at the track. They wont play when I have the GTS out, wonder why? :dontknow: wimps!

Trade the truck for a 4 door?? Yikes. At least wait for the Challenger. On the other hand, 29K for trading it in is is not to bad. Many are having a hard time selling for 30-low 30s. Considering the tax break you will get for the trade on a new car that puts you into low 30s.

'Bro, if it was my decision to make I wouldn't do it. What you have in the truck is a classic. I have talked to my wife about this. My thinking is when I get this one paid off I may get me a viper but I'll keep the truck. I'm thinking when I'm in my 70's and I can't get into the viper I can always jump into the antique '06 Q/C and go for a joy ride. My intention when I bought mine was to get something that would appreciate in value, be fun (always) to drive, and a hobby.
