HELP solve a problem......

you know..ive got burnt before(really burnt)and its not a good feeling but with all things put aside for the moment,is $325 for a sct fixed for your truck(in all aspects new)to much ???just wondering whats the feeling on that

Asking me? I would say yes condidering I can get ones on here for $200 ($150 the same day you listed yours but member never responded) all the time. Also new ones with tunes are going for $500. Just being honest.
Other members may feel different?

that was a very confusing thread I just read it, which is the reason once again I pm'd him prior to buying bc of his unfamiliarity (if that's a word) with the sct

Me too I feel bad I'm not trying make this bad but honestly I would have just not bought had I known it was vin locked rather that vin slots filled which was the impression I got from the pm answer. I don't think anyone wouldof bought a locked sct for $175??? If anyone would I'll happily sell it to them for that price.
Jerry I'll let you and all the other members deliberate on this issue, and wait for your final decision.

IMO the thread where you advertised the SCT screamed buyer beware....Roger is new to the forum and seems to be a great guy....I think he was not ripped off....just maybe misunderstood....but srtmanic has no responsibilty to return his money short of feeling sorry for Roger.....even though the SCT will need to be unlocked at additional expense it is still cheaper than new...........

Not against your answer totally but What many don't know is that there were pms sent before selling, for me to get a better understanding and clear up some loose ends, before I pulled the trigger on the deal. I've owned tuners fir my diesel before so I wanted more info, to avoid this problem.
$525 total does not equal cheaper than new considering I know of 2 vendors we all use that I can get for $500 with tunes.

roger,you asked me if there were any vin slots left on it and i said i honestly didnt know.you were satisfied AT THE TIME with the answers.i was and am ignorant on knowledge about these programmers,i never hid that or anything else.i knew it was a working programmer that was LOCKED.what else could i have done differently.this is a little hard to swallow when i was 100 % honest from the beginning

That's exactly what i want. Split half the unlock they way neither takes a hit. He sells locked sct for $100 (which is good deal for him still) and I end up spending $250????? Just my view. Now damn I gotta get my arse to sleep

Reason for me asking how many vehicles it was used on. You responded one, you bought the truck from the previous owner who bought that tuner directly from roe, leading me to know that only one vin slot was used.

i know nothing about the amount of vin slots on these...but that is accurate it was bought new from roe with the exhaust and used on that truck only
