Something is wrong with those numbers

I believe if you look at the Viper packages, it has just about the same (if not identical) #s for the Viper car as for the Viper truck. ???? Agreed... numbers do not add up.

Which numbers don't add up, the viper's or the cts-v's?

Power to weight ratios do not add up. If the CTS-V makes 1000hp and the QC truck makes 750, yet the truck runs better 1/4 mile... something is fishy. Granted, I guess the argument could be made that the CTS is geared more for top-end speed... but I still believe with 250+ more HP and a lot less weight, it would run a quicker "claimed" 1/4 mile than the QC.

And if the same package on a Viper car runs the same time as the Viper truck... then that makes no sense at all, given the car weighs significantly less and has far superior aerodynamics.

BTW, the 650HP package for the truck runs $24.5k. This is ported heads/cam/exhaust.

Yep... here it is from their website... the same package on a Gen 3 Viper gives the same HP and 1/4 mile track figures. ???

Has this been posted on the Alley yet ,,, Henassee should see this along with the rest of the little alley boys....

I'm not trying to bash, honestly. I'm only posting what is already on their website.

My brother had Hennessey do some work to his '09 CTS-V, and it was exactly as advertised, and it is extremely reliable. Very comparable to the Lingenfelter stuff for the CTS-V. He reports the customer service was fantastic.

I know Hennessey has taken a beating over the years, but they are doing some things right.

Hennessey put modding Vipers on the map WAY back when. But lately, there have been seemingly endless horror stories (true or not).

B.T.W. to run 136 with a 5600 lb. race weight requires over 1000 WHEEL.

Not to mention those rims look like shit!
