I've started making myself make a list of things that I need with limited success. Seems as if an item or two always falls off the list between the house and Lowe's. Or the item evaporates out of the bag because when I get back to my project, what I needed isn't there.

Got and passed our final inspection today. Woohoo! I thought for sure he'd find something to fail us on but we passed with flying colors. Carpet goes in Friday and then we start moving furniture. One of the pieces is a slate top billiard table I have to move from upstairs to the sun room. I can't wait (he says sarcastically).

Oh yea that little ugly building was a 15 by 15 workshop that just collected juck so i put a hottub in there and am finishing it out by putting my old french doors, and some windows in it...

I'm waiting for the rates to drop here before I refinance, I just got my qoutes for the sewer tie in and the exterior over haul. I'm planning on borrowing about $100k to get it done...... includes windows, doors, shingles, cedar trim, sewer landscaping and I've also been remodeling the interior a bit....... hopefully I will get some pics when it is all said and done. Building costs in nantucket are about 30% higher then most any where else.

I redid the landscaping on the side of my house. Projects always start out small and end up costing WAY more than you thought. $1500 later I have flowerbeds and new plants, and a shitload of mulch.

I love the outcome but some of plants have died.......that sucks when they cost $25 a plant. Cats have decided my mulch makes for a great litterbox!! F#ckers!!!! Got some red pepper shit in their now which they dont like.
