Well, its a Turbo Prop airplane. It has 4 engines and back in the 50's was the fastest airplane at the time in the air consistently, it was known as the Lockheed Electra at the time.

The Navy purchased it, made it a little better (i.e. developed a system that kept the wings from falling off during flight) and the plane still flies today.:dontknow:

I kan't drive my truck on base, but I'm allowed to set power for takeoff on the runway....kinda weird.:D

Flameouts are no problem for us....just have to avoid VMC Air....Basically sideslipping into the ground.:dontknow:
