are you running 3" exhaust? I put those spintechs on my truck to quiet her down. Not sure what hit I took in HP though.

I know your distrust of header performance gains. Why not put a good set of ceramic longtubes on it with a pair of 4 inch mufflers like the pump gas drag cars do. They run mid to low 8's with mufflers.

If you look at REAL FAST cars that run mufflers they all have headers. If you have been through 5 different exhaust systems there is obviously a problem. geez, Mike doesn't want headers. he's willing to give up the 50 - 100 HP he'llget so that he can say he has no headers. luckilly his exhaust manifold gaskets haven't blown out yet! (YET!!!)
as for mufflers, I'd use the magnaflow 3". no baffles to rip out and no restrictions.
