994 miles later and one cold night, but finally made it home. Only had one section of road that was bad
. I was concerned with the roads coming home. It had snowed yesterday and there is a mountain pass that is pretty much a 6% grade for 10 miles. It is a good thing I used to drive that road 4 times a month. There is one turn that if you are not familar with you will hit the guardrail. ABS was still kicking in a little bit before I made the turn. But I made the turn with no drama.
Below is a pic of the coldest temp I noticed on my way home. For you Canucks that would be -31 degrees Celcius. It is a good thing our heaters kick butt:rock: had that sucker on one notch below high to keep it comfortable in the cab. Ended up being about a 85 degree temperature change for me. Not pleasant to go from 70 degrees to -24 degrees
Had a great time meeting everybody. Looking forward to the next GTG I can make. I was real happy with my results at the track. My best was 13.3 @ 102.
Off to bed now. Driving for 17 hours will do that to a person.
