994 miles later and one cold night, but finally made it home. Only had one section of road that was bad:( . I was concerned with the roads coming home. It had snowed yesterday and there is a mountain pass that is pretty much a 6% grade for 10 miles. It is a good thing I used to drive that road 4 times a month. There is one turn that if you are not familar with you will hit the guardrail. ABS was still kicking in a little bit before I made the turn. But I made the turn with no drama.

Below is a pic of the coldest temp I noticed on my way home. For you Canucks that would be -31 degrees Celcius. It is a good thing our heaters kick butt:rock: had that sucker on one notch below high to keep it comfortable in the cab. Ended up being about a 85 degree temperature change for me. Not pleasant to go from 70 degrees to -24 degrees:D

Had a great time meeting everybody. Looking forward to the next GTG I can make. I was real happy with my results at the track. My best was 13.3 @ 102.

Off to bed now. Driving for 17 hours will do that to a person.

So, you're to blame for bringing the cold weather to Phoenix this past weekend! Damn if I didn't have to wear an extra Tshirt in the mornings. -24F.....now thats cold! Nice to have met you and glad you made it home safe.

Hey Chuck, good meeting you. Thanks for the smokes, wish we would have had more time to hang out. I was running the whole weekend. Got home to find we had put almost 2000 miles on the bikes in 3 days hehe. Didn't spend enough time drinking I suppose.

Let me know if you still want that stuff.

No problem on the smokes. And I thought that was a lot of miles for me in the truck. But on a bike is even more gruesome.

But overall it was well worth the trip and enjoyed meeting every single person:rock:
