i have mopar long tube headers kit and magnaflow catback, volant intake...i dont feel its fast enough so if u guys can give some opinions for more tunning no more then $3000.
thanks

Numer of vendors here that can sell you a tuner with tunes for under $700.......Stinker, Roe and DC performance..........will really wake up some horses....also remove your cats for a cheap 20+HP...

do u mean the sct?....the cats are removed..i think because of the high alttitude here in denver?? its not fast

how much are the gears?...i want to know if the cam will make any diffrence and if its safe for the engine?

i emailed dcperformance with what can i do to make it faster and am waiting for them to replay...i got 460 on the dyno without flashing the ecu or touching it the problem here in denver there is no good garages i was going to put a procharger and get 690whp but its expensive $9000...i was so close to sell my rc and buy a zo6 lool but i love my red bullet

if you think 9k is expensive, then you need to stick with where you are at, or go with NOS, around 1k and all the kicks you need, 9k just gets you started on one of these rides unfortunatly

I understand completely about your high altitude concerns. We have 6000+ footers on a regular basis here that kicks the crap out of performance.
At that (density) altitude, you will be down a whopping 21% (or over 100 horsepower in a relatively stock Viper engine) compared to what it would be at sea-level.

I was listening to the bitchin' at the local track last weekend. Some of the guys were off nearly a FULL SECOND through the 1/4 mile from their sea-level numbers.
Many of the Vipers here run low 13s; same as the Z06s...

So, throw another 100 horsepower into it and it will be fun where you live in Denver and a total blast at lower altitudes.

I don't know what your budget for this is but like Stinker said, nitrous is an option. Maybe not the best option for you, (I don't know), but it is an option that works.

Lots of ways to go here: Heads & cam, gears, tuning was all mentioned and it all helps.

It is more costly with these trucks than most performance projects and you will be surprised how the costs just seem to climb.

Since you have an 04 get some new gears from Unitrax 4.56 or 4.88 and a dc performance stage two tune. The gears will change the entire feel of the truck and the tune will maximize your headers cat delete mods.
