Seriously thinking about getting a Lightning and building my little S-10 to be a complete monster.

I won't be getting rid of the 10 for a long time.

Mine is paid off, house is paid off, a few more months to go on the SRT-8.. I was thinking of getting rid of the 8 for a Z06, :dontknow: or a Smart Car.

There is nothing on the horizon for me after the 10 gets paid for, Im gonna concentrate on paying my house off and modding my truck a little bit at a time as the years pass by. Unless I hit the lottery

Damn, Roy..... That's random. LOL... You sure you aren't family? My Dad pulls that random shit all the time (last time, he went out to buy a RT/10, and came home with a M5 ).

Have always wanted an old speedster, but with flared fenders with wide tires and on a modern frame. Maybe an LS 1 for a power plant, don't need much for a 2500 lb sports car...

I just did what I have wanted to do for a while. Natural progression up to the Viper. Lighter,faster,no cruise,harder to get in and out of,can't even haul a chair but it hauls butt!!!

David you are obviously much younger than me.

I had some trouble getting in the Viper...but found it almost impossible to get out:

1. Because I didn't ever want to get out...

2. Because my body would not bend enough to allow me to get out...

3. And knowing that I would not be able walk upright for about two minutes after I got out!

But you have our dream...you have taken the natural route, and I am really wondering what your future mod list includes???

Well Roy I have done the pistol grip shifter,3 inch exhaust,pcm and air filters. It already had the 20/19 ccw wheels with ps2's on it. The audio is far beyond my hearing so later down the road I might try a paxton. Sean Roe said he was working on a top mount for the genIII that I might try. I am happy with it as it is now and will drive it to Mobile Saturday for the Mopar show.

me too, i have looked in many places, for a couple of years but haven't found # 87 CE viper, heck i've looked for the srt4, some would say i have to many rides now, heres the lastest toy( 66 coronet drop top)
