My BFF (yeah, it's a gay term, but I don't know how else to say it since he's been one of my best friends since kindergarten!) is a 3rd SFG LTC and has been to Iraq twice and Afghanistan four times since 9/11. Trust me when I tell you (OPSEC) that the general public doesn't know a fraction of what these guys are doing on a daily basis, and might not know for another 20 years, if ever. You can hate the war and throw shoes at the guy you think is responsible, but I'm sure everyone agrees that all of our Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Airmen down range deserve our utmost respect and support...

yes its hardcore, and no your common american cant fathom the grueling aspects of combat,I have a friend in special forces, always wonders if he is next, lets just put it this way the word alert is the key,and hopefully some divine luck,these people continue to blow my mind with their courage and strength:congrats:
