Infineon Raceway ...Wed. , Oct 7

 
Unfortunately for me my night was not to good. My best run was a 13.1 and I was spinning pretty bad. 60 foot was over 2 seconds. I don't have my time slip in front of me so maybe Trainman can share my times. As a matter of fact out of the three runs I spun every time. worse time was 13.777. Top speeds were two 105's and a 104. I know the 6000 lb truck will run in the 12's it's just a matter of hooking up.
 
No new NA record, but I had fun. The air was good, as was the starting line. Like everyone was saying Sacramento will be the best for times. Infineon seems to be slightly uphill, and a bit of a headwind all night. Each time I would stage the truck and light the second beam then push in the clutch, the truck would roll back out and turn off the bottom light, I had to keep a little clutch slip to stay in the light. Anyway here are the results: Run 1; 12.297 @ 110.98, 1.724 60', 7.847 @ 86.78 1/8th. Run 2; Driver error...had a 1.716 60' then missed third and coasted thru with a 14.083 @81.48, but this was Mike's (Noid) best run of the night , his time was 13.143 @ 105.20, with a 2.032 60', 8.473 @ 83.73 1/8th. Run 3; 12.342 @ 110.77, 1.738 60', 7.881 @86.55 1/8th. The DA was 311 for the first run and down to 147 for the last run so the air was perfect. I lost 5 MPH from my best times in Sacramento in May ( best speed 115.887) so either something is wrong ( broken spider gears?) or the strip really is the difference. Everyone is saying that Sacramento (when the prep is good) is 2 to 3 tenths better...I can believe it.
 
i would blame it on the track for being slower, if your spider gears were broken i think you'd notice it more on the launch than in the top end, still good runs though:rock:
you stull runnin the M&H 390's?

i'm thinking about starting to run again, but i keep blowing my money on other crap:mad: other than that it's goin pretty good, how bout you? oh and i went the the track for the Austin Dyno day G2G but i was on street tires i need to buy some slicks and a new clutch:D
