I, for some unknown reason, decided to install my JMB midpipes in my driveway with the truck on jackstands today at about 4pm. I thought it would be a 2 or 3 hour job. Not counting stress brakes and dinner it ended up taking 6 hours to complete!!!
The problems were the original midpipes. I had to cut, brake and dremel 4 of the 6 original collector bolts. I spent an hour and a half trying to get one of the original O2 sensors out. It had seized up tight. Then I had to rethread the O2 since the threads got bummed up in the fight. I had to recut the lengths on the Magnaflow twice to allow enough space to get the midpipes on.
Overall it was a pain. It would have been easier if the truck was on a rack and I had a torch. It would have been easiest to have PAID someone else to do it!! The truck runs and sound freakin awesome!!!! Thanks Justin. Your products are outstanding.
