I, for some unknown reason, decided to install my JMB midpipes in my driveway with the truck on jackstands today at about 4pm. I thought it would be a 2 or 3 hour job. Not counting stress brakes and dinner it ended up taking 6 hours to complete!!!

The problems were the original midpipes. I had to cut, brake and dremel 4 of the 6 original collector bolts. I spent an hour and a half trying to get one of the original O2 sensors out. It had seized up tight. Then I had to rethread the O2 since the threads got bummed up in the fight. I had to recut the lengths on the Magnaflow twice to allow enough space to get the midpipes on.

Overall it was a pain. It would have been easier if the truck was on a rack and I had a torch. It would have been easiest to have PAID someone else to do it!! The truck runs and sound freakin awesome!!!! Thanks Justin. Your products are outstanding.

you can re use sensor ,,i did i had to replace one cause it was seized,,

the sensors are only 25 bucks at auto zone if you have to replace one

The fact here Ray is that you got 'er done. Conrats dude.:congrats: I wish you could'a posted a sound clip. One of these days I'm gonna just break down and go cat-less mids myself.. :dontknow:One of these days.

You can definately reuse the original O2s, even if they were in less than perfect shape like one of mine was. I drove it around, and WOT :), for about an hour. No check engine lights ever! I bought the JMBs with the 3" adapter for RC 10s. All in all, it was not that bad. Again, a rack and torch and it would have been a 2 hour job tops. So far, other than the B&M shifter, this has been the best money I have spent. $400.00 total as I picked them up from Justin. I will try to get a sound clip up ASAP.

This is one of the few things that I have done that you could actually feel a difference.

Well s@@t. After about 50 miles today a CEL came on. My SCT read it as a PO342 I think but I cleared it by accident. I am positive it is the messed up
O2 I had. I will order a new one tomorrow and post the results.
